The Room that Wasn’t There

James SteimleWhen Mr. Dunden, a quirky carpet salesman making one last sales stop before heading home to his family, chooses a small country inn with a relaxed atmosphere to rest his weary body, he never expects to uncover a mysterious haunting.

At first everything seems quaint, efficient–normal–but then he hears a strange woman crying at night. Other tenants begin to act oddly, and he can’t shake the feeling that he, himself, is teetering on the brink of insanity. Dunden must find this wailing woman: he must end her torment as well as his own … in the room that wasn’t there.
